Shipping Policy - the basics
At Kilted Photography Ltd, we aim to ensure that your purchases are delivered to you as efficiently as possible. This Shipping Policy outlines how we process, handle, and deliver orders placed through our website. It also covers important details about shipping costs, delivery times, and what to expect if something goes wrong during transit.
We ship our products globally, with processing times of 1 business day. All our parcels are shipped using Royal Mail and Parcel Force services, offering a range of options to suit your needs.
1. Shipping Locations
We offer worldwide shipping for all our products. However, please note that shipping into certain EU countries will incur customs and VAT charges, payable by the customer. These countries include, but are not limited to:

2. Processing Time
All orders are processed within 1 business day of payment. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays.
3. Shipping Methods and Delivery Times
We offer a range of shipping options through Royal Mail and Parcel Force, including:
Standard Shipping: Typically takes 3-5 business days within the UK, and 5-7 business days internationally.
Economy Shipping: A more cost-effective option with longer delivery times (up to 10 business days internationally).
Upgraded/Tracked Services: For faster delivery times and added security, we offer tracked and signed-for services.

4. Shipping Costs
Shipping costs are calculated based on the weight, size, and destination of your order. For detailed information on how these costs are determined, please refer to Royal Mail’s pricing guide. We do not offer free shipping, and all shipping costs are calculated at checkout.
5. Order Tracking
Tracking is available for orders shipped via upgraded services. Standard and economy shipments do not include tracking. Once your order is shipped, we will provide you with a tracking number if applicable, allowing you to monitor the progress of your delivery.
6. Handling Damages or Lost Items
If your item arrives damaged, please contact us within 14 days of receipt with a photograph of the damaged goods. We will offer a refund or replacement, depending on your preference. In the event of a lost item, if the package is not delivered within 2 weeks of the expected delivery date, we will raise a claim with Royal Mail and either issue a refund or send a replacement item.
7. Customs, Duties, and Taxes
For international orders, especially within the EU, you may be required to pay customs duties, VAT, or other fees as mandated by your country’s regulations. Kilted Photography Ltd is not responsible for these additional charges, and failure to pay them may result in your package being held or returned. Please note that we do not offer refunds for items that are not collected due to unpaid customs or VAT fees.

While we strive to ensure timely delivery, please be aware that delays may occur due to circumstances beyond our control, such as courier delays or adverse weather conditions. If you experience a significant delay, please contact us, and we will work with you to resolve the issue.
9. Returns and Refunds
If you no longer want the item and return it in its original, unused condition, we will issue a full refund for the item upon receipt of the returned goods. However, please note that we do not refund the original shipping fee. Customers are also responsible for the return shipping costs.
